Women Empowerment

At Caring and Sharing, our Women Empowerment sessions are safe, inclusive spaces where women, particularly those from asylum-seeking, refugee, and BAME backgrounds, can connect, grow, and thrive.

These sessions are designed to support women’s well-being through open dialogue, practical workshops, creative expression, and confidence building activities. Whether it’s learning new skills, accessing resources, or simply finding a moment of sisterhood and support, our programme uplifts women by centering their voices, experiences, and aspirations.

Each session is a step towards healing, self-discovery, and collective strength, because we believe that when women rise, communities rise with them.

Try to Become a Volunteer, This Can Solve Many Problems

At Caring and Sharing, volunteering is more than lending a hand, it’s stepping into purpose. By supporting our Women’s Empowerment sessions, you’re helping to break isolation, build confidence, and create safe, supportive spaces for women from refugee, asylum-seeking, and marginalized backgrounds.

Your time and compassion can spark transformation, not just in others, but in you too. Whether it’s helping with workshops, offering a listening ear, or simply showing up with empathy, your presence can make all the difference.

Real change doesn’t happen in headlines – it happens in rooms filled with courage, kindness, and community. When you volunteer, you’re not just solving problems, you’re planting seeds of empowerment, hope, and connection. Step in. Show up. Be the change.

There is no tool for development more effective than the empowerment of women. When women are fully involved, the benefits can be seen immediately: families are healthier, children go to school, incomes increase, and communities become more resilient.

Now Any Help is Needed

The women we walk alongside at Caring and Sharing are navigating complex journeys; as asylum seekers, refugees, and members of marginalized communities. Many arrive in the UK carrying the weight of displacement, trauma, and uncertainty. In these moments, even the smallest act of support can spark hope.

Now more than ever, your help is needed to keep our Women’s Empowerment sessions running, to provide safe spaces for healing, growth, and sisterhood, and to ensure that every woman who walks through our doors is met with dignity, opportunity, and care. Whether it’s your time, your skills, or your resources, your support can be a lifeline.

Together, we can lift barriers and build bridges. One woman at a time.
