Joy, Play & Belonging: Children’s Holiday Activities at Caring and Sharing

As Regina Brett rightly said, Summer is the annual permission slip to be lazy. To do nothing and have it count for something. To lie in the grass and count the stars. To sit on a branch and study the clouds.

School might be out, but the fun, learning, and laughter are always in at Caring and Sharing! Our Children’s Holiday Activities are a vibrant, joy-filled space where kids from all backgrounds come together to simply be kids, and feel completely at home.

During the holidays, we open our doors to children from diverse cultures, experiences, and orientations, creating a space where every child is celebrated, included, and inspired to shine. Through a lively mix of creative workshops, games, sports, shared meals, storytelling, music, and more, we foster connection, confidence, and community spirit.

It’s not just playtime (though there’s plenty of that), it’s an intentional space where children can explore their imaginations, express their creativity, build friendships, and just experience the joy of being young and free.

We believe in the power of togetherness, so whether they’re painting, running, dancing, crafting, or just giggling through a board game, every child is reminded that they belong.

Because holidays should be about more than just time off, they should be about joy, discovery, and memories that last.
