Here at CAS, we know that looking after our well-being isn’t just about what we say, it’s about what we do. And sometimes, the best thing we can do for ourselves is simply to get moving.
This week, we’re shining a light on something close to our hearts: making movement more accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful for our community. Thanks to our exciting collaborations with Sport England and Cartwheel Arts, we’ve introduced weekly activities designed to help us all feel a little stronger, inside and out.

Free Weekly Exercise with Sport England
Through our partnership with Sport England, we’re offering free weekly exercise sessions open to everyone in our community. These aren’t your typical fitness classes, there’s no pressure, no expectations, and absolutely no need to be a gym expert.

Whether it’s gentle stretches, walking groups, or light movement sessions, this is all about showing up, taking a breath, and giving your body and mind the care they deserve. It’s about feeling good, not looking a certain way.

And the best part? You get to do it alongside others, because sometimes just being around friendly faces makes all the difference.
Men’s Well-being with Cartwheel Arts
We’re also proud to continue our work with Cartwheel Arts, who help us run Men’s Well-being Sessions every week. These sessions are a space for men in our community to move, connect, and talk openly and without judgment.

Whether it’s through art, conversation, or simple physical activity, these sessions offer a chance to take a break from everyday stress, check in with yourself, and be part of something supportive.
We’ve seen first-hand how these sessions can boost confidence, ease anxiety, and remind people they’re not alone, and that’s what community care is all about.
Why It Matters
We believe everyone should have the chance to care for their physical and mental health in a way that feels good, safe, and free from judgment. Moving your body, even just a little, can clear your mind, lift your mood, and help you feel more connected to others.
