Community is about people. It is about creating spaces where people can connect, share experiences, learn from one another and feel that they belong.
At Caring and Sharing Rochdale, that is something we see every day. Whether we are supporting families, bringing people together through activities or creating opportunities for people to have their voices heard, community remains at the heart of what we do.
A Changing World, A Stronger Community
Recently, our Operations Manager, Olawale Ogunjimi, attended the World Trade Organization’s Public Forum 2026 in Geneva, Switzerland, where conversations explored the future of trade, technology and inclusive growth.
One message stood out: as technology and AI continue to change how we work, learn and access opportunities, we must make sure people are not left behind.
For the communities we support, access to digital skills, information and opportunities can make a real difference. The experience reinforced the importance of helping people build the confidence, skills and access they need to participate in a changing world.

But while technology is changing how we connect with the wider world, there is something happening much closer to home.
Something Is Happening in Our Community… 👀
