At Caring and Sharing Rochdale, our weekly exercise sessions are about more than movement. They create a welcoming space where people can connect, build confidence, improve their wellbeing, and feel part of a supportive community.
Recently, we partnered with Sport England for another engaging community exercise session, bringing people together through accessible physical activity and shared encouragement.

Community Impact
Community exercise activities can play an important role in supporting both physical and mental wellbeing. For many people, joining a group session helps reduce isolation, improve confidence, and encourage healthier daily routines.
Our sessions are designed to be inclusive, supportive, and accessible to people of different ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Whether participants come to stay active, meet others, or simply enjoy a positive environment, every session creates opportunities for connection and wellbeing.
Why Activities Like This Matter

Simple activities such as stretching, movement exercises, and group participation can have a lasting impact on community health. They encourage social interaction, emotional wellbeing, and a sense of belonging, especially for individuals who may feel isolated or disconnected.
Through partnerships and community-focused programmes, we remain committed to creating safe and welcoming spaces where everyone feels encouraged to participate.
Creating Spaces That Support Wellbeing
We look forward to continuing to promote healthy living, inclusion, and community wellbeing through activities that bring people together.
