Celebrating Volunteers’ Week in Rochdale
Volunteers’ Week in Rochdale brought together volunteers, community leaders, and partners in a shared celebration of service, collaboration, and local impact.
Across the week, CAS Rochdale recognised the individuals who consistently give their time, energy, and skills to support local people and strengthen community wellbeing.

A Community-Led Celebration
Throughout the week, CAS welcomed key stakeholders including the High Sheriff of Greater Manchester, Mark Llewellin, the Mayor and Mayoress of Rochdale, and representatives from partner organisations such as Action Together.
Greater Manchester Police also joined the celebration, reflecting ongoing partnership work that supports community safety and trust-building.
In addition, these moments highlighted something simple but powerful: when people and organisations work together, communities become stronger.

Recognising Volunteer Impact
A key moment of the celebration was the recognition of volunteers through certificate presentations, appreciating their continued commitment and contribution.
These volunteers remain at the heart of CAS Rochdale, playing a vital role in supporting individuals and families across the community.
One volunteer shared that being part of CAS has given them a stronger sense of purpose and connection to their community.
A Moment of Recognition
CAS was also honoured to receive recognition from the High Sheriff of Greater Manchester for its contribution to the local community.
This acknowledgement reflects the collective effort of volunteers, staff, partners, and supporters who make the work possible every day.

Moving Forward Together
At CAS Rochdale, we remain committed to building stronger, more connected communities through volunteering, partnership, and consistent engagement.
Volunteers’ Week is a reminder that real impact happens when people come together with a shared purpose.
Looking Ahead
We extend our heartfelt thanks to every volunteer, community leader, and partner who contributed to this celebration.
Together, we continue to strengthen Rochdale, one act of service at a time.
